Installation of Maple on Linux - 14, 15
If you encounter a problem with licensing software (FLEXlm) unable to determine hostid or missing hostid on your system the cause might be a nonstandard library requirements of FLEXlm. Probably depending on architecture and/or distribution some or all of the following symbolic links might be needed:
ln -s /lib64/ld-linux-x86-64.so.2 /lib64/ld-lsb-x86-64.so.3
ln -s /lib/ld-linux.so.2 /lib/ld-lsb.so.3
ln -s /lib64/ld-linux.so.2 /lib64/ld-lsb.so.3
