Abstract

The Schwinger-Lanczos method proposed recently by Meyer et al. (1991) is applied to the calculation of dissociative attachment cross section of electrons to diatomic molecules within a nonlocal resonance model. As a specific example the dissociative attachment cross section for e-+HCl is calculated.
