Abstract

The zeroth member of the Morgan-Morgan family of static thin-disc solutions is known to have infinite density along the rim. The first member, referred to as the simplest physically acceptable one, is also shown to have a curvature singularity at the rim, although its density is finite everywhere. The other members are regular.
