Hex
scattering database
Hex” stands for “Hydrogen-electron collisions”. This acronym actually covers several distinct things:
Hex-ecs Hex-dwba Hex-db Database
A low-energy code that solves the full Schrödinger equation in the scattering form for two electrons in the proton field. The boundary conditions are avoided using the method of exterior complex scaling.
The current source code of the programs can be freely downloaded at the Hex project page at SourceForge and also here: source, win64 binaries.
The package is maintained by the Institute of Theoretical Physics at the Charles University in Prague, Czech Republic, in the collaboration with the Astronomical Institute of the Czech Academy of Sciences.
